ABOUT US

The Indonesian Paint Manufacturers Association (IPMA) is an organization that represents paint manufacturing companies in Indonesia. IPMA was established as a platform for communication, coordination, and collaboration among paint industry stakeholders with the aim of enhancing product quality, compliance with Indonesian National Standards (SNI), and strengthening the industry’s competitiveness in both domestic and international markets.

In line with industry development and the increasing integration of the supply chain, starting in 2026, IPMA officially opens membership to supporting industry companies, including raw material companies and suppliers that play a strategic role in supporting the growth and sustainability of the national paint industry. This initiative reflects IPMA’s commitment to building an inclusive and collaborative industrial ecosystem.

IPMA is committed to promoting the implementation of Indonesian National Standards (SNI), supporting government policies related to the paint industry, and serving as a liaison and strategic partner between businesses and the government, including regulators and other relevant stakeholders. In carrying out its role, APCI actively organizes various work programs, technical discussions, seminars, policy advocacy initiatives, and educational activities to ensure that Indonesia’s paint industry continues to grow in a healthy and sustainable manner.

As an organization with a long-term vision for industry development, IPMA also plays an active role in human resource development.
IPMA acts as the Initiator of the establishment of the Chemical Analyst Vocational High School majoring in Paint Technology, ensuring the sustainability of skilled workforce availability, particularly for paint manufacturers and supporting industries. This initiative represents a strategic step in addressing the industry’s need for competent, job-ready professionals who understand standards and advancements in paint manufacturing technology.

Through continuous synergy and collaboration among industry players, government, educational institutions, and all stakeholders, IPMA strives to create a healthy, innovative, highly competitive, and sustainability-oriented Indonesian paint industry.

With a spirit of unity and professionalism, IPMA continues to contribute to strengthening the national paint industry while supporting Indonesia’s sustainable economic growth.
